Misfits surprises this season in terms of clothing with their new 2021 Pro Jersey made in collaboration with Ellese. Misfits is an esports group that was formed in 2016 after the Renegades expulsion, its previous parent organization, from the EUCS Summer Qualifiers where, after that they could no longer continue competing under the latter name. So they made the decision to create one under the name Misfits. Over time this team established itself as a global company in the world of esports and entertainment.
Throughout its short history Misfits has participated in competitions of games such as League of Legends, Call of Duty and Overwatch, being also permanent partners of three esports leagues. There is no doubt that since its inception Misfits has strived to consolidate itself as one of the most solid esports organizations, with first class management complemented by a broad knowledge of the structure surrounding the esports world.
All of this has allowed Misfits to forge highly beneficial partnerships with international brands and organizations. A few weeks ago there was a rumor that Misfits could have its lineup ready for the next season in Europe, although the organization has not yet given an official statement on the matter. It should be clarified that at the moment all this is speculation, although it was one of the first news that spread through the show made by Dot Esports. If true, it would confirm the return of most of the Misfits members who were present last year, leaving two new members to cover the space left by Jungle (Razork) and ADC (Kobbe).
Taking stock of what has been 2021 for Misfits in terms of competition has not been that bad at all, despite the fact that they got the seventh place during the spring out of playoffs. Come the summer, luck turned in their favor as they made it to the next stage of the regular season and finished fourth. However, their streak of success did not last long, as they ended up losing to Fnatic (3-2), a result that hinted at the changes to come.
It had been rumored that few players would remain in the team, although it was later confirmed that three of them would stay for one more season. After the announcement of Razork’s incorporation to Fnatic, Misfits rushed in the search for another player to fill this vacancy, being in the end Shlatan the chosen one to be a member of this team and participate in the maximum European competition.
